I thought I'd resurrect this as there hasn't been much update on the other threads for a few months. I have a Nav III which I really like. I have no problem with reading the screen, I like the buttons on the side. I get my map updates via Numaps with no problems. But... the internal memory is now a limitation in that I can only fit North Western Europe on it on the map update and I can then add some additional maps using Map Install, and the memory isn't expandable. So, I'm looking at updating as I do a fair bit of travel and I'd like to get all of CN Europe plus some addtional maps on the unit.

So - are the Bluetooth issues with the Nav IV sorted out? Can I use a Nav IV with audio (voice prompts only) with an Autocom Super Pro Avi hard wired?

Are there things that the Nav III does that the 660 doesn't.

is it worth the change?

I changed from a Nav3 to the Nav4 in November. I prefer the Nav4, mainly because of the larger, clearer screen.

For me, it's has better clarity for the text directions at night time. A few extra bits of functionality, such as Lane Assist for major junction exits, Speed Camera alerts & Music.

I've not had any Bluetooth connections problems, to date!!

As regards updates, I opted for the Lifetime cover through an online company called Handtec - £49. Had 3 x upgrades so far and not experienced any problem with capacity.

Hope that helps somewhat.
