Zumo 660 Numaps lifetime update card problem

Hi,

I recently bought a numaps lifetime update card to bring the maps on my unit up to date, but despite my best efforts i cannot update the maps.
Garmin express keeps telling me the latest maps for my navigator IV are 2012.40, i know this isnt true.
I have also tried using my garmin account to use the card, but it doesnt appear to process my request after inputting the product key in the correct area.
What on earth am i doing wrong?

I had the same problem.

I ended up deleting my 660 from Garmin Express, downloading Garmin Express again, then linking my 660 to it.

Although it didn't recognise my unit and the update immediately, I went to the pub and tried it next day. Hey presto, it worked.

i seem to be managing by using garmin map updater......fingers crossed lol. Thanks for the tip though.

Similar problem my unit was working fine, then after the update if I start playing music via the media player that works for a couple of minutes. Then speeds up everything sounds like pinky and perky playing at double the normal speed then stops and won't play anything, then if I try to do anything with the unit it freezes, then won't shut down. I have reset it 5 times, there is obviously a software gremlin in then the latest updates, I'm off to Spain soon so I need it sorting beforehand!!!!!!! Not happy with Garmin..

I had problems downloading latest maps to my Zumo 550. After fruitless tries, I contacted Garmin help by phone; they asked for a file from my computer to be sent to them. They then fixed 'something' their end and the next try of the download was perfect. I gotta say, they were most helpful, albeit it was an hours phone call.
