Just before I start to pull my 660 installation apart, I thought I'd pick your brains please
My 660 mount has been hard wired to my 1150GSA for over 4 years and was professionally fitted by the BMW main dealer.
It has performed faultlessly during this time, including many long European trips however yesterday it started to have issues.
Basically the power supply to the 660 via the mount is now intermittent, with the 660 sometimes showing it is powered from the mount and other times running off its own battery regardless of being securely fixed in the mount ?
There does not appear to be any loose wires because although intermittent, it almost chooses to run off its battery instead of mount power, 1 in 4 times it's loaded onto the mount ?
Apologies for the long explanation but I hope that someone can explain the problem and how to fix ?
