Went to update the 660 last night. After installing Garmin Express I then go to install the latest maps. Message pops up telling there is not enough memory and to install a 4Gb memory card. There is already a 4Gb SD card installed.

However, been out and bought an 8Gb micro SD card this morning. Plugged the zumo back into the PC to see a missing software message on the zumo screen. The PC is now not recognising the zumo so I can't do anything.

Have tried switching both of them on and off again but still no joy.

Any assistance/advice greatfully received :beerjug:

No suggestions before I end up sending it to Garmin ?

Try copying the contents of the old card onto the new.
While you are on, delete anything that doesn't need to be there eg MP3 files.

Was the card used on a mac?
If so put the card into the mac make sure all the data is deleted.

When I had that earlier this year it was 159€ for a replacement ... but there are som ways to hack the firmware bare onto the unit, you might be lucky.
