Charges on mains power and car mount and on another TE. Anyone else had similar problem?

Nope, mine seems to work fine.
Followed the cable down and found the cause : 
Sorted, goodman and didn't cost you a fortune!
Not sorted! Can't find the male leads the Garmin cables should connect to 
Not sorted! Can't find the male leads the Garmin cables should connect to
Hows that happened
Sorted out at first service
