Remind me, please, how do I configure my Zumo 660 so that the phone link between Zumo and Autocom is via the Bluetooth dongle, but the Zumo audio and music output is via the hardwired cable?
Mine has always been like that and I configured nothing. Just link to phone and plug audio cables in. Not sure what you mean by phone link between Zumo and Autocom though. The Autocom is not involved in the link with the phone. I know this is right as I have just received a replacement Zumo. I just plugged it in to the bracket which is wired to my Autocom and then set up the Bluetooth to link to my iPhone. All works correctly.
I think the best configuration is to bluetooth the phone to the "Phone" on the Zumo. Then use the "Audio" bluetooth to connect to the Autocom dongle. The Zumo Audio cable connects to the 3.5 mm part from the Autocom audio splitter cable (cannot remember the code number), but DO NOT connect up the mic as that part is handled by the dongle.
The Zumo connects to the GPS input and the Dongle to the Riders Phone.
After many hours on the phone to Autocom and Garmin (trying to sort out their appalling software support) this configuration gives the best overall functionality.
