Zumo mounting options

Having finally got Zumo 550, I've spent all afternoon trying different positions, luckily the missus was out shopping.

I only have the Garmin ram mount and the favoured place seems above the clocks. The mount didn't appear particularly secure, probably because the bar above the clocks is oval.

If I do need another mount what is the favoured one?

Your advice/experiences please people

i use the ram mount above the clocks, had no problems.

Shifted mine from top bar above the clocks as the vibration loosens the screen bolts.
On handle bar next to clutch

Took me a couple of goes to get it in right position on bar above clocks. The ball of ram mount is secured below bar and facing me. This allows cradle to sit above speedo and not obscure any of the instruments. Mine is very secure and my preferred position in line of sight so I dont need to divert my eyes too far when riding.
