zumo with autocom

intending to fit a new autocom 200 to my 1200, connected to a zumo and a nokia phone.
been recommended to use a "dongle " to bluetooth zumo and phone. anyone using this system? or is a wire from zumo to autocom better??? thanks

My setup has both - the dongle and the wire. Reason being that if you have just one, the Zumo will send all audio down it and the Autocom will not be able to recognise when you are using the phone to have a conversation or just listening to directions/MP3s. It then tries to suppress the audio when you talk which means you wont be able to hear the other person.

It affects all intercoms - not just Autocom, but the dongle and wire combination do work very well indeed. You will probably need to get the isolated wire to prevent interference.

Try Chainspeed for some good prices and advice.
