Ha! I got you there! :D You think I know?!:p No, sorry, I have no crystal ball to tell me the future.
But! I can post all info I can get here, hopefully in English or pictures.

I start with this picture, from a webcam, today.
-Make a guess where it is! I'm sure if you have seen 10 pictures showing the highlights of Norway, then you have seen this view! Yes, it is foggy today, but this is a thread about the weather in Norway, so...
-Make a guess!
-You'll find the webcam at http://www.aftenposten.no/webcam/ .

:) Liv.

Where is it going to rain in Norway in June?
Good one Liv.:D:thumb2

I did a trip to Norway, Finland & Sweden in 2005. We were away for 27 days and I think we had 3 days without rain. However, it was really hot when we were in Geiranger.

Was in Norway again last year and it rained again. And some people go on about Scotland being wet. But Norway is still most excellent.:clap

Cheers

Gav:)

This is Lom, I nicked it from this site:
http://www.aftenposten.no/webcam/?kart=detalj&id=392&tittel=Lom
Lom is where E15 and Rv.55 meet; -if you go direction west from Lom a E15 you go to Geiranger (in Møre-og-Romsdal county), and if you go direction east/south on E15 you go to Vinstra, Ringebu and Lillehammer in Gudbrandsdalen in Oppland county. And direction south/west from Lom at Rv.55; Sognefjellet and Turtagrø, Fortun and Gaupne - and finally Lustrafjoden and that is a part of Sognefjorden.
:)
If you klick at ''Værmelding for Lom'' below the picture in the link, then you get the weather foracast for Lom!
Almost all pictures at this site have a link to a weather site. If not, try www.met.no

OK, the frame of the pic gave me away...
So, Gav; Norway is better then Scotland in rain? I have been in Scotland in rain, so I can not deny. :p But rain is rain - all over the world the rain is wet! :p

Here is a new one for you: http://www.yr.no/sted/Norge/Oppland/Sør-Fron/Gålå/
This hotel www.fefor.no have a link to a webcam and to the weather site above.
Fefor is 13 km from Vinstra in Gudbrandsalen, and another place in the area is Gålå, or Golå.
If you wonder if the weather is fine at www.krystallrally.no at Fefor in two weeks, then keep an eye on this site! There might be a motorbike infront of the camera, perhaps my sidecar?, from wednesday 13 of February and the rest of that week - and the weekend!
:bounce1 I'm going to Fefor if I can handle the snow.... I hope I do! :bounce1

:) Liv.

(http://www.yr.no/sted/Norge/Nordland/Bodø/Bodø/ Here I just typed ''yr.no'' at my Browser, I klicked at the map when my arrow gave me ''Bodø'' - and TA-DAA = the weather in Bodø!
At www.yr.no you can type the name of maaaany places in Norway, and klick at ''værsøk''!)

I recognised it as Geiranger before I even noticed the label on the pic.:thumb It's a view that comes up quite often. I've got a picture that I took myself from a similar angle- in better conditions though.:)

More like this, but no snow, Gav?

And here is a link for webcam to Sykkylven http://www.aftenposten.no/webcam/?kart=detalj&id=409&tittel=Sykkylven - and sykkylven right now below; today and yesterday.
Sykkylven is not far from Aure, Spjelkavik and Ålesund (Aalesund)
...and so I could go on all day, showing you the weather in Norway and links to the weather forecast.

:) Liv.

DFDS in Oslo;
-not going to Newcastle. Only ferry from Norway to your side of the pond is DFDS Newcastle - Bergen/Stavanger/Haugesund.
:)
Follow this link http://www.aftenposten.no/webcam/?kart=fylke&id=12&tittel=Oslo and find more webcams for Oslo.

-But is going to rain in Norway in June 2008?
Try this
http://senorge.no/mapPage.aspx
No crystal ball, but you can type any week or date and see if it was raining here, or ca.temperature we had here! So you can let the history give you an idèa of how wet/dry or hot/cold it is going to be in the area you want to ride, about the time you want to come over! :clap
If you type 24th of July 2007 (24072007) you can see how wet it was when I was at Flåm (at the end of Sognefjorden, next to Aurland and Gudvangen). Well, to be honest it felt a little more wet then the map are showing you... -But give it a try!
And compare to weeks in May from two from different years, to see how different the weather was in the same period! :)

Bring woolies and waterproof gear, and put your camera in a plastic bag, and hope for the best! :bounce1

:) Liv.
