Multi-award winning play on BBC Radio 4 this afternoon:

Memorials to the Missing

By Stephen Wyatt

The establishment of an Imperial War Graves Commission to record the graves of those killed in action during the First World War. This play won Silver for Drama at this year’s Sony Radio Academy Awards.

It should be available soon on the Listen Again feature or iPlayer.

45 minutes well spent.
 
BBC 2 Saturday night 20:00GMT Michael Palin is doing a program as part of the timewatch series following 4 lads who died on the last day of WW1.

I nearly missed this because the title sounded like one of these reality TV shows where they stick cameras in people's homes!

I watched that, very interesting.
It did hit Dan Snow hard, as I suspect it would a lot of us, although there's no way you're to blame for your great grandfathers actions.
And that was 1 of 4 (I think) so more to come.
