I am part of the crew of HMS AMBUSH, one of the new class of submarines currently in build in Barrow-In-Furness.
All submarines are affiliated with a town or city; ours is Derby. To raise funds for the Derby Hospital Fund, twelve members of our ships company are cycling from Barrow to Derby, starting on the 27th April.
The bike ride will take place over three days.
We have set up a justgiving link, here. Our target is £1500, and any donations that you may make will be very much appreciated.
I will post up some pictures once we have completed the ride.
