Does anyone know of any countries in the balkans who wont accept a UK driving licence?

Likely to visit Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia, Greece, Turkey and Bulgaria.

Why not ...

... get yourself an International Driving Permit (IDP); I can't be arsed to look for the countries that you mentioned, but it's an offical form of photo ID that never fails to impress

to get an IDP all you need is £5 your driving license (both Parts) a Photo and your passport take them to the post office and they will do it whilst you wait ( moments few)

IDP good idea. In Turkey you'll need a UK international licence at least.
