What?
You don't know?
Some information about Norwegians here first: http://youtu.be/ebqdwQzmSHM

So, what happend on Norways Constitution Day, 17/05?

''The Norwegian Constitution Day is the National Day of Norway and is an official national holiday observed on May 17 each year. Among Norwegians, the day is referred to simply as syttende mai (meaning May Seventeenth), Nasjonaldagen (The National Day) or Grunnlovsdagen (The Constitution Day), although the latter is less frequent.''
That is a quote from here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norwegian_Constitution_Day

So, how do we celebrate 17/05 in Oslo?
Family and tourists do this: http://youtu.be/lZ4XVtpwq74
Students, Russen, do this: http://youtu.be/uSnNQZbS85c and this: http://youtu.be/JPuZzSJYkjE

So now you know!

:) Liv.

In Scotland we have something similar but we call it 'Constipation Day' usually not long after 'clootie dumpling' week!....It sometimes takes a big push to get the celebrations going though.........!:augie
