Didn't know if someone could shed and light on this one, my bike is up at Vern's having a clutch put in, after he had taken the g,box off he's noticed that on the side of the gearbox it's been hand engraved PX, does anybody know the reason for it. I bought the bike when it was just three years old and has run perfectly for the last 45k.
It's a bit late to take it back to the previous owner
but I just wondered if it stood for reconditioned etc. It seems a bit rough to just hand engrave it and I can't see BMW doing it (of course I could be wrong
).
Anybody have any ideas? (besides get a life and just ride it
