Running in

I'm confused. Having been through a lot of the threads, there appears to be great disagreement about the need to run in or not. Having mainly owned Japanese 4's in the past I'm used to using the running in instructions as guideleines and haven't slavishly followed the book. I certainly haven't let them get in the way of enjoying a progressive ride! Without wishing to try to summarise all the advice available on site it would appear to me that this could well be the way to run in my new 1200 gs which comes on 5th october. Views please

ps used same principal on just departed 650 gs and seemed to work there.
