Share Trips with other basecamp users?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knew a way to publish trips or share them with other basecamp users. This is really for route planning collaboration. It seems I can publish an adventure, but that only works with rides I've already done which are stored as Tracks.

Any ideas other than a screenshot?

Is it possible to save a route as a track? I can't remember. If it is, do that.

I don't think so mate, tracks seem to be only uploads from the GPS of rides that I have actually done, whether planned or not. I'm not even entirely sure what a Route is compared to a Trip. They use so many terms for what amounts to essentially the same thing.

I can however export the Trip as a GPX file.

This is version 4.3.4 if that matters.

You've answered your own question, just publish or share your GPX files.

Not very user friendly though are they :/ It's a shame that a company as big as Garmin, in a specialist area, can't make a slick interface for such things. Something like google maps.. :/

Not very friendly to share?

They don't bite and will display in Google Earth. Open them with some of the free software available and they will display in Google maps, too.
