can anyone tell me if 1200 stick coils pre 2010 will fit a twin spark 1150 on a 53 plate?

The R1200GS pre 2010 and the R1150GS twin spark primary stick coils (upper) share the same part no 12137715853 according to the parts catalogue.
The R1200GS has stick coils fitted to the secondary plugs (lower) and these are right angled coils and won't fit.
