Riders rest 1st weekend in September

I'm looking for the opportunity of a weekend away and like to use the first week of September as the weather is usually good and the kids are back at school. I've had a provissional look and fancy checking out the ridersrest.

The eurotunnel is about £60 return or Brittany ferries from Portsmouth £91. There seems to be plenty to do from a good base. Any one else interested before I start making enquiries?

Also worth mentioning that it is 388 miles from Le Havre or 650ish from Calais

There are 2 of us making this trip if anyone fancies meeting up
