Looks like snow has arrived early this year, talking to a couple of lads last week who were going down to the Alps to have a play this week, think they may be a bit disappointed , 2 are the Grossglockner and the other one from the stelvio

Was there on 13th Sept, I thought it was getting nippy, saw -0.5 degrees near Val d'Isere on the way back.
I went over the grand st Bernard last weekend, plenty of snow, the col du l'iseran was shut as were a few others so that buggered my plans of doing the RDGA on the way south, diverted to the route Napoleon down to the coast instead.
