A friend of mine is thinking of selling his 2008 Breva 1100, so popped along this evening for a looksee.
I haven't ridden it yet, but it sounds mechanically ok, with 12k miles on.
What concerned me was the pretty poor condition of the cycle parts, namely the
fixings. A lot of these were rusty, as was the centre stand.
My questions are :- are there after market replacement fixings available, and is this
pretty normal for a Guzzi?
There is no screen, so are these still available?
I realise of course that centre stands on many bikes are subject to being shot blasted
while in use, but I was expecting better quality.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
