A friend of mine is thinking of selling his 2008 Breva 1100, so popped along this evening for a looksee.
I haven't ridden it yet, but it sounds mechanically ok, with 12k miles on.

What concerned me was the pretty poor condition of the cycle parts, namely the
fixings. A lot of these were rusty, as was the centre stand.

My questions are :- are there after market replacement fixings available, and is this
pretty normal for a Guzzi?

There is no screen, so are these still available?

I realise of course that centre stands on many bikes are subject to being shot blasted
while in use, but I was expecting better quality.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe not well looked after. Mine is 2006 with 23k miles and is immaculate. And for sale. See advert on the forum.

And yes several screens are available .

Thanks for your replies.
I'll have a ride soon and see if it'll suit me.
He's mentioned a price of £3k for it, so I'll see how things go.

I haven't had a Guzzi for 35 years or so, when I sold my V7 special.

I think the reg no was GNK 119K. I wonder where it is now?
