Rang James Sherlock about a R1100GS on their web site - £4995. They said it was sold, but another one was there.
Black, R reg 47,000 miles FSH, ABS, Black engine model, Heated grips, Pannier rails - priced at £3,595. Very interested said I - please give me a price for mine to p/ex. They said, we'll call you tomorrow when the guv'nor's in.
Didn't hear from them so rang at 1pm. Very sorry - Bike sold.

That would have suited me down to the ground at a price I could afford, and I'd have made most of that back on my R1100R.
