Givi racks and broken plates

Hi,
I thought you all might find this interesting.
I have been enduring a squeaking, creaking knocking for some time. I removed the Givi topbox mounting plate and behold:

and the new replacement, now a little more solid

although I won't be putting the Givi back on.

I also have a Givi top box and need to Know what you are getting at, for some reason Your pictures are not appearing,

Ermmm, I have a Givi 42ltr, can you tell us what broke etc or have another go at uploading your pics.
