Weathers kinda nice - time to ride!

Joyce and I had a run up to Stonehaven and back for lunch:thumb
Road were reasonable - drier up past Montrose - just great to get out for a couple of hours and clear the cobwebs a bit.
Lets hope there's some drier weather ahead and less mud on the roads!

Cheers....................Grizzly:beerjug:

That is all Glamis Estate....I remember chatting to the head forester about the wood immediately above the right wing mirror. When they planted it they had tremendous trouble with black game nipping out the growing points of the young trees. I had a day in there on a chainsaw course about 20+ years ago and we found a hidden leisure zone, complete
with mattress, porno mags and tissues.....:eek:

The very layby indeed. Didn't take it far, out to Tealing via Emmock/Lumley Den/Meigle/Dundee. Was enough given the weather and lack of time etc.

Sadly my memories of that wood are not as good as yours Gerard - I bought a spanking new Kawasaki Z900 in 1976 and in the spring 1977 Joyce and I were heading to Blairgowrie and slid on some oil on the dropped left bend around the corner of the wood - bike hit the opposite verge & somersaulted down the banking into field:eek: - a bad day oot!!!

Normally though, it's a nice bit of road:thumb

Huge controversy over that segment....viewers complaining about the 'cruelty' of deer culling.....FFS!

It's a very sensitive subject in this modern day. I'm a hypocrite, I'm against animal killing but a meat eater but having been in a 12 year relationship with a vegan, you learn a lot about the farming industry, feck me, Joaquin Phoenix even spoke about it in his acceptance speech last night.

Killing deer may be controversial, but there is NO cruelty involved.

Hahahaha...have a word with yourself eh, next time someone shoots a bullet thru your skull be sure and tell them it was cool not cruel. :blast

It's a bit like fucking game keepers ranting about us riding off road scaring his game and when I replied I bet they're much more frightened of your shotgun than they are of my exhaust.

You learn even more if you've been involved in farming for 50 years. Country file is so often so far from real life , but then again i know somebody who is on the program a bit talking about farming , couldn't make a success of it himself but gets a job telling others how to do it.

Peculiar leaps of logic displayed there, but off topic, so whatever pleases you.....
