2010 R1200 GS Fog Light Wiring

Hi,

I have bought a pair of 10W Cree LED lights and a K&S Technologies Universal Headlight Switch 12-0051 (both from Amazon) to attach to my GS. The main reason for this is to increase road presence as drivers around my way are not that observant...

My question is what is the best method of wiring this up to my bike and what is the best type of relay? I have down this a few times with my land rovers and am pretty confident about what to do, but would like a little reassurance before I fry my bike electrics...

I have found the following wiring diagram to make a loom up:



I am sure it is as simple as it looks, but it would be cool if an 'Old Hand' could keep me right. If there is a good thread on the site I am more and happy to be directed to it.

Doing the same here, lots of diagrams available but a 4 pin relay will suffice:
#30 to batt+ via fuse
#85 to neg
#86 from switch 'on'
#87 to LEDs +

Some great waterproof connectors on ebay, buy some, plus get various diameters of heatshrink
