New bike day!!

So the time arrived today to collect my new bike.. After a coffee and all the formalities out the way it was all mine and i was off for my first ride. Weather wasn't great but i didn't really care, i was on my new bike.. Didn't have a load of time as i had other commitments today but managed to get in a small ride and time to start a few farkles... Once the afternoon plans were out the way and i was back home i managed to get a few more much needed farkles done... So far i've changed the following:

  • Euro 3 Akra fitted
  • Dark Adv screen
  • Up and back bar risers
  • Rallye seat
  • Roadlok fitted
  • SW Motec tank ring
  • Black hand guards
  • Centre stand guard
  • Mudsling and fender extender
  • Adventure luggage racks
  • Adventure passenger footpegs
Tomorrow the Dinali Sound bomb gets fitted followed by the Skytag tracker and headlight guard and the reflectors on the forks removed...

Coming on nicely...

Sweet ride made even sweeter with all the farkles. Impressive the rate at which you’re adding them ����
 
Are the black hand guards genuine Bmw ones? Must admit I am not overly keen on the white ones

So what luggage racks have you put on as it shows the BMW ones fitted when you collected it ?

Yes Dave, they are actually the ones off my Adventure as I put white ones on that!

Keeping the BMW racks so I can use my Adv luggage.. (for now) considering going down the soft luggage route...

just removed the racks cause cause they look shite on there own..

Why not get Bumot Xtremada panniers that will fit your racks ?

Now my favourite panniers due to their versatility.

Enjoy se rider, looks great. +1 for soft luggage. They look the part and you can sling them on your bmw frame.

Agreed. I’m not into panniers, but if I were to go down that route, those are the ones I’d get
