europe mapping for Nav 5?

My used 1200GS L.C 2015 model came with a BMW Nav 5 that seems to have lifetime UK only mapping, just wondering whats the best way or place to buy the full or western europe mapping from, and if there are any discounts available?

You sure it’s not got Europe? I thought they all did. Try changing the country

They have europe as standard unless it failed to install properly. Go to map selection and make sure all options are ticked.

Try the satnav section.

But - It will defo have full European available - you need to go to “mygarmin”, register it and update the mapping as per instructions there

Unless you install an sd card there isn’t enough memory for Europe map so it will default to uk and Ireland only

thanks, that might be the problem I'll check and see if there's no SD card installed,

What you don't want to do is snap the SD card off in the slot. No, not me, but I know someone who did. :blast

Sounds favourite.
A dealer tried to update my nav5 with no sd card and it lost Europe.
