Cam cover O'ring size!

While at the Stafford show, I bought a large assorted Hilka box of Nitrile O'rings for only a fiver

.
I have an oil mist from one of the circular cam cover plates probably the rubber seal has gone.

Without removing the original, does anyone know the diameter and thickness of it, so I can check if it is included?

Motorworks charge £3.50 each

No idea but my 445 price o ring assortment box has yet to find its first useful application.....

I’d probably buy the correct one.

I had the same: a slight weep from the cam-cover plate.

I bought the motorworks replacement seal, but it didn't make any difference.

I was rooting around when I discovered that it's virtually the same diameter as the brake caliper piston seals - so I stuck one of those on as an 'outer' seal and so far it's been perfect.
