If you don’t keep yer drain holes under yer ECU clear ...........

What started off as a bit of a tidy up ended up in a bit of an archeological dig!

Wonder what else is hidden as I strip the panels off the front end

Bit of a tidy up in the wiring dept too..
Not having to bend down over the bike all the time is a huge improvement

Are they the Cymarc seat lowering what’s it’s? If so I have them as well, also taped together with black electrical tape. My GS is the same colour too.

And I’m another admirer of the bike lift, what make is it, and would you recommend it?....:beerjug:

Yes, Cymarc seat lowering held together by gorilla tape.

The lift is the Abba Skylift with GS LC fitting kit. Pricey at around £460 but s soon as you start to assemble it you realise the build quality of the thing. It really is worth every penny! It’s on the lwest of three heights for the lock pin at the moment but I’ll hoik it up further when I come to the service and valve check.

Front plastics and fuel tank off next for visual inspection. Might put metal QRs on the fuel lines just for gits and shiggles.

Thank you for your reply Shakey, I'v been thinking about a lift for a while now, as crawling about under the bike is less fun as you get older.

The Sky Lift looks as though it ticks a lot of boxes, storing it being one of them. Many thanks for the info......:thumb2

Guys if you ring them they may honor their current price of £395 which they are doing at the NEC Bike show. Worth a punt, Hope this helps.

Reassembly is simply the reverse ........ :blast
