Digital instrument panel for r1150gs?

Hi,

The RID recently went on my 1150 and instead of replacing it I’m considering installing a digital instrument cluster.

Has anyone done this?

If so was it difficult as my wiring skills would be fairly basic?

I have been looking at models like the KOSO DB-03R but open to suggestions if anyone has done this and can recommend any
