Looking for info.

Looking for some information on my Suzuki gn400. It's on an X reg 1982 ,but on the v5 was registered 2002 . I take it was imported into the UK at some point .
Would this bike qualify for free tax / mot in 3 years time ? .

Its the date of manufacture that counts, so as your bike is already on an age-related number plate, the DVLA has already accepted it was made in 1982.
So on that basis, yes it will qualify for re-classification as a "Historic Vehicle", free tax and no need for an MOT.
Don't forget you have to apply for this, it doesn't come through automatically. Its a simple process, Google has all the answers.
