Hi

I've just installed a repaired ESA shock (thank you Firefox) and put everything back together and 20 seconds after start up the red triangle of doom appears with the battery symbol below.

I hooked it upon the optimate to make sure it was juicy and left it for five hours (all green on the optimate) but the triangle of doom re-appears 20 seconds after start up.

The battery was new in March and id connected to the optimate 50% of the time. Ran GS911 autoscan all clear.

Any ideas anyone???

TIA - time for a beer

Have you cycled the shock through the different settings? It may just think its in the wrong position?? (I don't have experience with ESA but seems strange GS-911 does not show a foult)

You can check the bikes battery voltage on the dash display (analogue and tft). It should be around 12.5volts with the engine shutdown and around 14volts running. If it is close to those figures, and stating OK, your battery should be OK. Are you sure it is not the battery in the key fob that is low?

Lol..... a brave man who admits his mistakes in here.

Glad you found the problem

Pat on the back for admitting your mistake.
