Owned this 57 plate versys 650 for nearly 3 years and did attempt to sell it last year but in the end due to covid and E Bay idiots it is still in the garage .
Typical Kawasaki it is very good in places but in others ie the frame the paint has been misted on at best, yet the bolt on black subframes for the rear pegs are better finished than a BMW frame
Decided to strip it down over the holidays and will get the frame powder coated satin black rather than the scabby silver it is currently sporting and fit a new set of steering head bearings and then go from there.
I'm thinking after painting the plastic rad shrouds and frame cover black I either :-
1. get the rest of the paintwork changed to a fetching shade of Kawasaki Racing Green (the current metallic black is actually very good ) and keep the bike
2. I already have a DR650 17" rear wheel that fits so fit it and adapt a spoked twin disc hub to fit and add a 19" front rim and keep it
3. Once the frame is done and I have blasted and painted the smaller brackets put it back together and stick a years test on it and flog it
