Hi everyone, before I break something, can someone tell me how the bulbs on the speedo, tachometer etc actually come out please? I have tried giving them a gentle pull but, they don’t seem to budge? Thanks

You have to kinda squeeze and wiggle the bulb holder out of the recess. It can be awkward to get a grip with the wiring etc hampering your access. I have used a long nosed pliers in the past but be very careful and do not squeeze the pliers too tight around the holder. A small spray of wd40 around the holder might lub it up to help it come out .

Just pull harder, they are made out of rubber and just a push fit, but if they’ve not been out for 15 years or so the rubber’s probably dried out a bit and they’ve stuck. If your struggling it’s easy enough, if a bit fiddly, to unscrew the nuts that hold the speedo and tach to the mounting frame, then it’ll be easy to pull the bulbs

Thea is everyone, much appreciated! I’ll give it a go later. Cheers

Increase your finger strength by tearing open a few tea bags and peeling some oranges or bananas.
