OEM Rack or Unit Garage Rack to go with Rallye Seat?

Hey all,

I've just splashed out to treat myself to a Rallye seat for my 1250. I'd like a rear rack to go with it and am trying to decide between the OEM rack from the Rallye at approx £240 vs the Unit Garage rack for approx £140. https://www.unitgarage.com/special_parts/frame/rear_handle_for_rallye_seat_1

Does anyone have any experience of which is better and why? I just want something to strap a large Drybag to for camping.

The Unit Garage page states their rack only fits with the Rallye seat. I'm assume that's also true of the OEM one?

I had the unit garage rack on my Rallye with the single Rallye seat.. it was great.. good fit … great quality.

IMO better then the BMW version.

Was it the "rear handle" that I linked in my first post, or the proper full-size rack that you had? - https://www.unitgarage.com/luggage_carrier_2

I guess the proper rack is more useful but it's not as sexy. Can a luggage rack be classed as sexy?!?
