Rode one today and what a bundle of fun it was.

By the way I'm 6ft7in and it didn't feel too small.

Good
This bike feels as light as a feather.
Very fast steering makes it extremely agile.
Firm suspension puts you totally in touch with the road.
Superb handling.
Incredible drive from low RPM.
Excellent brakes.
Sounds great.

Bad
Seat is hard and after 30 minutes uncomfortable.
Lack of even a small screen makes 100kmh+ speeds uncomfortable due to wind blast.

Conclusion - A totally insane adrenaline machine that isn't very practical but so much fun it makes you want to do insane things through villages and mountain roads. Not for touring but for fun :bounce1

I had the Megamoto last week for a weeks test ride. I would recommend the HP2 enduro with road wheels and rear air shock after owning one for 18 months.

I found the suspension too hard and the cheap plastic carbon fibre look alike was disappointing. The seat was OK for a couple of hours ride. The bike is over priced. The r1200s would be a better buy and ride.

The suspension can be adjusted. I agree it's too stiff out of the crate but you have plenty of adjustment available.

The r1200s is a completely different bike. Not sure why you're using that for comparison. On tight twisty roads the MM would be a better choice. I've had an R1200S in the past and now have a MM.

The Hp2 enduro with road wheels and a WP rear shock i guess. The air shock is fine when adjusted precisely but if you take a billion passenger occasionally for a ride,it's a PITA to re-and-re-adjust.

Nice screen, can you tell me where you purchased it and the details of installing it. ie parts needed to buy or fabricate. Thanks.

I believe GSMarc made it himself, there's a link to it in his previous posts I think.

I've got one of these on order from Isotta in Italy, hopefully here in a couple of weeks unless it's backordered.

Yes, I did it myself with a piece of the MRA "variable" which was on my GS1150.
But thank you very much for this info.
The shield is very beautifull !!

when you go on their website, it's written that the product isn't available...
But it will cost 300€.

I contacted them via their website and asked if they had any UK dealers, they put me in touch with one local to me. He has ordered the part for me, I'm just waiting to hear whether it's in his next shipment or is backordered, he won't know until his shipment arrives. Should know more later this week.

It isn't saying "not available" at the moment on their site.

The part number is - SC982

They also do one with a taller screen - SC983

For US dealer details try contacting Laura Carpene at FAR Spa, who are the export arm of Isotta Spa. Her email is - export*@*far.it (remove *'s before sending).

For the UK, the contact is Rob at VE UK Ltd, they mainly deal in scooter and other small bike parts but will order in stuff for bigger bikes as and when. His email is - rob*@*ve-uk.com (again, remove *'s before sending).

Hope this helps.

I am 5'10" (180cm) and have the small screen. It is just right. No noise, and enough protection to make riding at speed much, much more comfortable. The best money I've spent on the bike so far.
