Having had the pleasure of two rides with GSERs from the deep south over glorious the countryside of the Yorkshire Moors and Dales large hints were dropped that I should organise something up north around Kielder. They say as they find down there! Always being up for showing off Northumberland the challenge has been accepted.

Date: Sunday 30th September 2012

Depart: Wentworth (Waitrose) Car Park, Hexham

Time: 10.00 a.m.

Roads: Mostly Tarmac and narrow. A few have lost some of the tarmac and there's one forest trail - hoggin hardpack but it depends on when the stones were laid:rolleyes:

I should be there. Just need to organise a shift covering but someone owes me one so should not be a problem. Looking forward to it.:beerjug:

Up for it, great idea. The roads up there are fantastic and frequently much quieter than you might expect. Looking forward to it!
 
Looks like there will be a good crowd on the 30th. For those of you travelling to Hexham and the Wentworth car park (co-ordinates below) there is a cafe open from 08.30 at the Southwest corner of the car park. No stops until lunch:eek:
