changed all the hydraulic fluids in my 1150 today. first time i've done it on an ABS bike, done loads of others, cars, etc.
i used one of these cheapo, valved tubes & it was generally a piece of piss after i'd swapped the special BMW bleed valve on the O/S/F caliper for a normal one.
moving on to the point of this post.....
when it came to doing the clutch, i screwed another bleed nipple into the BMW one. this worked but was very messy.
can the odd BMW bit on the end just be swapped with a normal bleed nipple? i was tempted to try but was unsure if nipple would seat properly in the hose fitting.
ps. i then went on to change fluid in my le mans linked system, a job i've done many times before. as usual it would not get rid of air using the normal methods. i had to resort to using the EasyBleed pressure system.
much more trouble than the BMW. i thought it would be the other way round
