Hi, will probably re-align ok

. Because the GS doesn't have a conventional top yoke - ie the legs are only secured in rubber mountings in the top, all the securing and stiff-ness comes from the bottom yoke combined with the wheel spindle and axle clamps.
Leave all the top yoke as it is, slacken off the four screws in the bottom yoke and the wheel spinldle and it's clamps - you'll then find it very easy to align, nip up the screws and keep checking the alignment as you go.
Should have mentioned, the four screws in the bottom yoke are Loctited - it's best to remove them, run a tap down the holes to clean out the old Loctite then refit screws dry and set up as above to align, then remove them one at a time, apply Loctite, and torque up to spec.
