MRA Vario Screen R1100GS Pic anyone?

Hi,

Does anyone have a photo of one fitted to a bike. The pic MRA use is not so clever.

They do a tinted and clear, is the clear completely clear or just the top section?

Anyway, wouldn't mind seeing a pic and hearing from someone who has one fitted to an 1100

It's THE best screen for 1100, if you want touring comfort and enough offroad visibility. Tinted does fine, nuff transparent coz you'll have it always covered with thick layer of squeezed bugz :aidan

Having a few delays getting a smoked screen, clear are in stock.

Still not seen a photo anywhere of a clear MRA screen on an 1100

even MRA cannot supply one.

Wondering if I should order the clear instead as it might also give a better view of the ground. I find the standard 1100 tinted screen impares the vision when I had a dabble on rough ground.

I'd have liked to see a pic before commiting ideally though.

I have the tinted on my 1100 and dont have any problems at all seeing the floor. I think it has a nice smoke tint and you can easily see through it if you needed to.

That seems to be the general feedback then - trouble is the tinted one is out of stock,

The clear one is proving a little elusive - does it look good or does it look like you've crashed into a case of mineral water?

Here is a pic of the tinted on my 1150. I to wanted a clear one but no one seemed to stock them. So I ordered the tinted, glad I did once I had it fitted to the bike. Just done a trip to Scotland and back an am sure glad I changed to the MRA screen. HTH

When I ordered mine MRA in Germany didn't have any clear screens in stock. I got mine from BMWBikeBits link from here.
Must admit my bike looks better with the tinted screen....sad I know...

Are assuming the tinted ones look better or has anyoneactually seen a clear one fitted?

Or are we just saying the screens themselves improve the looks

Nah the clear one is cool, the tinted one is almost as common as those SE1150's on here

. My only gripe with them is they are a bit flexi at speed, they could do with a brace.
