...for front and rear to fit behind your clear lenses on your 1150GS.
Having seen the price of those sold by NN I decided to make my own. Not that I am tight, but £29 for 8 LEDs and 2 resistors is taking the mickey. (mine will be 28.99!!
)
The ones from the nippy bloke have only one setting (I think) but mine have two so you can have:
RED for the rear - use them as running lights / brake or running lights / fog.
WHITE for the front - Either full on or dim, or switch between the two.
The circuit allows for dual brightness using high intensity LEDs consuming around 240mA for each unit (of 8 LEDS) at full intensity and less than 2mA on low. The LEDs are intended for automotive use so are suited to this application.
Just thought I would see if anyone was interested in any while I have the etch tank full
They will be hand made by me, from design, etching, assembly and testing so turn around might take a while depending on my day job.
Not sure of the price yet but will be per pair of either RED or WHITE, it really depends on the interest. If enough of you want them I may get the boards professionally made to make it quicker.
Will post some pictures of them fitted soon. But here they are being tested:

I hate cutting loom wiring, so these will hopefully piggyback the rear light fitting using spade connectors. Fitting instructions will be supplied.
I have also made an LED tail/brake light unit for the 1150GS - as that is what I have. It is for IBS/non IBS (switchable possibly) and has 32 of the same LEDs on it. Same brightness so will match the indicator LEDs. Just need time to get it off the breadboard onto a circuit board.
After that some LED indicators maybe?
Let me know your interest it those too.
