Ring antenna and fuel pump part numbers

Bought in the last two weeks and from the box:

"Pump" - 16 14 7 708 312. Comes with replacement seal and 2 screws

"Ring Antenna" - 61 35 7 717 136. Comes in an electrostatic bag. From the info on it I'd guess it was made on the 11th Feb 08.

Can you fit the ring aerial yourself ? I have had 3 GSA's - first one 3 x EWS fault and my latest 08 GSA failed 2 weeks ago - EWS again !
I have writted to BMW asking if I can carry out a "roadside fix" if they supply me with a newring antenna, not heard back from them yet.

Any advice/help re the ring antenna replacement would be good
