Just when everything was going so well.
I've succesfully installed City Navigator 2008 and unlocked the maps. I've managed to download the vast majority of Europe onto the 2Gb CF card (all the maps add up to 2.374Gb so I just deleted the maps for areas I was highly unlikely to visit to bring it down to the size required) and I've upgraded to the latest version for the GPS unit itself, but I can't upgrade Mapsource (to version 6.13.7) for love nor money, and it's driving me bloody nuts.
When I go to the "Updates & Downloads" section of the Garmin site ie HERE I click on "Mapping Programs" and choose Mapsource 6.13.7. So far so good. I have now downloaded the latest version 4 times, but when I try to install the latest version, I get a message saying
Clicking OK doesn't work, but using the search facility in Windows Explorer, I can't find any folder holding anything called "MAIN.msi".
What the hell am I doing wrong??
