Wales has the best motorcycling in the UK - accessible, great places to stop for a panad (Cymraeg = tea), and a great welcome.

Great roads carries risk, and for GSERs who like the quiet places, they are often far from help. That's where the Air Ambulance comes in.
In the dark days before the evolution of the emergency medical care standards that we currently expect as a right, I drove an ambulance in North Wales. On a good day, if you threw your bike up the road in Llanrhaedr ym Mochnant, it would have taken an hour to get to you, and at least an hour to get to hospital. Many couldn't wait that long.
These days we have the Wales Air Ambulance; it raises your chances of survival. It needs voluntary contributions to continue to provide the standard of service that we expect as a right.
One for your diary.

Starts Swansea Ambulance Airbase, and Caernarfon Airbase (Dinas Dinlle), and may arrive at a fantastic location in North Wales chosen by discerning bikers (details TBC)
Full details will be posted online at www.helimedrideout.co.uk as soon as the website is rebuilt (check after 31 March).
Come for a ride out, or dip in your pocket.
Either way - it will make a difference. Hopefully not for you, but for one of us.
See you there.
