I may well be a slow adopter here but if not here goes ......
I've found getting music and in particular playlists onto the Zumo from an iTunes base a bit laborious.
I've had to do the following:
Convert mp4 files to mp3 files.
Remove the DRM tags from tracks purchased from iTunes
mad
Group the music files into batches of twenty.
Stick the batched files onto the SD card.
Drag files into Playlist Maker software to create m3u playlists
Stick the playlists onto the SD card.
A lot of work and quite a bit of file duplication.
The solution is MediaMonkey.
I've done a one off conversion of all my mp4 stuff to mp3 and ripped all the DRM tags off using PM Converter.
Everything is now in the MediaMonkey library all neat and tidy, automatically sorted.
I can now set up whatever PLAYLISTS I want and simply synch. them to the SD card.
No duplicated files, no messing about with folders and file batching. All done automatically.
Everything can be shuffled on the Zumo and even though these are m3u playlists you can still browse by artist, album, genre etc....
Best thing about this for me is because it's so quick and easy to do I keep much more up to date music on the Zumo.
