Which one would it be ???
Lost a bit of weight again (goes up and down like a hoors drawers) hoping not to look like a tellytubby this season, spent loads £££ in past and never found the perfect suit for the bike.
warm & dry in winter, cool and comfortable in summer , is this too much to ask ???
Appreciate any suggestions , currently I use HG goretex tricky 3 in winter (sweat like a rapist if temp goes over 20deg) and HG Airflow suit in summer (get caught in a shower of rain and soaked before you can get to the rainsuit in the panniers) .

Aerostich roadcrafter suit.

It's all i've worn since 2005.

KLIM Traverse

Superb suit - it's a Goretex shell suit intended for off-roading so it has lots of ventilation. Just wear more layers under it in winter. Adventurespec

are the importers.

The older style Hein Gericke Tuareg, I've used various ones for 12 years:clap

What kind of riding are you doing? Commuting? Touring? Dual sport?

Layer cake

Its a cliche but its got to be layers,

I wear a cheap (£130) richa, take the inner out in summer, waterproof over (Draggin jeans) trousers (weiss?) in winter, when it piss's down a alpine stars all in one over the lot, with over boots, put on/take off as required,It works for me,all weathers, all year.

Oh and muffs and wally flaps:thumb2

If its for road riding, in all weather and temps then I can highly recommend the BMW Comfortshell jacket and trousers. Its a 3 season jacket really but wear a heated waistcoat /jacket or properly layer up and you'll be good in winter too.

100% waterproof , doesnt 'hold' the water like the cheaper Rukkas do, it beads off the outside like a conventional oversuit. Cool in summer up to 25 degrees , well ventilated but the climate change technology means that as you climb that alpine pass into cooler air the jacket keeps you warm until you come back down.

Sorted :thumb

Rev'It Everest.

Best I've ever owned !

Got mine from these guys.

They gave me 10% off even without asking and great quick service

Have the BMW rally suit which is good but recently bought the one piece Aerostich that is so far proving to be a good buy.
The one piece suit is great for commuting as you wear it over your work gear and don't have to take a change of clothing with you. Not used it in summer yet so don't know about the comfort level of a one piece in heat.

My Rukka Armas suit is utterly brilliant, I'd buy another tomorrow if this one was damaged.

That said, I always keep my eye open for a 2nd hand roadcrafter. I'd want to try one on before purchasing which you can't do over here unless you know someone who's got one. Sadly I never see them in the smaller sizes I'd need.

BMW Rallye Suit - ideal for a UK winter:D

... talking of which, I bought a brand new pair of rallye pro 2 trousers from my local dealer today, reduced from £345 to £90 ! Bargain !!!

Just because they were cheap doesn't mean to say they were a bargain ;)
