Clinging to reality by a finger tip.
I think this winter I'll replace replace the 5yr old rubber brake hoses on my '98 11GS, so if anyone could answer any of the following I'd appreciate it.

1. Could someone recommend a manufacture other than Goodridge? Does one exist?

2. Are stainless lines the only option?

3. Can they be gotten in funky colours?

4. I'd like to buy them off someone who has supplied brake lines for a GS before and has some experience of suppling the correct lengths.

5. Cost?

Thanks.

Motobins

I got my stainless lines for an 1150GS (non ABS) from Motobins, costs range from £14-18 per hose.

Don't know if there are other options or colours available.

Dont know much about the subject, but I do remember City Slicker saying that you might need slightly longer lines if you were contemplating fitting handlebar risers - just a thought?

Boxer:
I've got Hel brake lines - better than Goodrich (I followed the advice of Simon Thomas and CHris the Colonel who also have them). Mine are in blue. Any colour you like. Custom made for the length you want if you've got bar risers etc.
Not cheap - £110 - £135 depending on spec.
Haven't got the number in front of me, but I'll post it tomorrow (Monday) with some piccies.

Lord Snooty and Roger thanks for the replies.

Simon thanks for the pic, that's exactly what I want only in green or the nearest colour to kalahari yellow they've got.
