I just put my valve spaces correct, they were off from 0,3mm and 0,15 sandards, and i feel a bit more vibrations on various RPMs after that - i think it's causeb by some asymmetry from carbs? So they need syncronizing?

What tools you recommend syncing carbs?

I've heard they go offsync very often on BM boxers coz cables get old, and it's recommended to sync at least about every 3-6K kms(?) Makes me think i need a very compact syncing tool if i go travelling. "Twinmax" only in the market, or there's something better even???

PS: Would a slight asymmetry on carbs do any damage to engine in long terms? Any experiences?

There is much better than Twinmax, and it will cost you less than 3£: a water manometer. Bikes not included.

The blue tubes at the top are optional. They are there to prevent water ingestion in case there is more imbalance than the height of the columns can handle.

Oops, Gary is faster, his manomenter is cheaper, and his fluid is a much nicer Red!

Hmm...

Makes me think i should do compactifying ones - simple free transparent cables, so i can roll them into backback on travelling. If syncing needed, then simply hang them somewhere up and do the sync procedure, simple physics or what(?) :)

Got mine ready - 5 minutes of work - just to strap the pipe on to woodplate and you're done :)

Cost: 2.10£ (5 metres of transparent cable) and 0.05£ for few straps and piece of wood that skipped my sauna next sunday (replaced by some cold beer) ;)

Yep, it cured a bit. But after doing about 200km it again got some more vibration in 4K RPM or so. And i checked the sync again - they were again out of sinc, not much, but visible. I guess my throttle cables are gettin' old, must replace them sometime soon...
