I'm very interested I got one of the plastic types brilliant idea. But they were nowhere man enough. Within a month the plastic lock sliding broke. And all my contents ended up down some road.

Very easy to make your own just get a peli case and mount that to number plate mount and then the plate onto the case and hey presto

Hi guys, sorry for the late reply, i've not been on the site for a fair while. I've only got a few units left "on hand" which require assembly at my house which have minimal scratches on the outer faces due to me storing them all together without proper protection. They are not that bad but are just not perfect. the number plate will cover the scratches. I'll do these for £75.00 to clear them or if you can wait 4-6 weeks, there are around 20ish new spotless units still left at the manufacturers which I have not collected yet and require building. These are in Leicester and I'm based in Lancaster and won't be able to get to these to build them until next month. Hi, I see that the thread started in 2011 with 14 pages.

Rather than read every page, has anyone had the same experience as me with the fact that the box body obscures the rear light from shining down and illuminating the number plate?

Mine is a Sportouring one and much thinner than this one.

Easy fix on my Triumph Tiger 955i as the rear light unit can be spaced to be further out, but not so on my R1200GS Adv, it still illuminates, but not as well as it did before the number plate storage box was attached.



Any ideas?
