I was going too drain for fresh oil but..
When I went too undo it,it was easy too start with (Perhaps two turns ) then tightened up but still OK till I saw this starting too come out,is there supposed too be shoulder/grove for the oil seal too sit in..

That looks correct and normal. The last part of the plug should just be proud once screwed home.

The o-ring seems to often have a hard life. I've replaced mine 2-3 times. But I'm quite sure that the tightness you describe during unscrewing is that o-ring dragging past a paint covered area on its way out (hence it becoming tight, then loosening)

As slipperyeel says, the O ring looks to be seated correctly in its groove

It’s pretty much the same as on the LC, there is always some resistance screwing the plug in and out

I always fit a new O ring as they cost pennies but I’m sure you could use them several times in reality

Many thanks for the replies,
If the thread is done for its beyond my skills
And someone will be receiving a parcel for it too be repaired... ⏫ please...
