I’ve heard that BMW have pulled out of M&P Swansea. Any news as my bike is due in for a service
M&P will cease its relationship with BMW the end of March im told.
Unrealistic expectations from BMW and the owner being no mug has made them come to the decision that theres not enough money to be made to warrant the bullshit BMW foist upon them.
Good on M&P i say, emabarassing for BMW.

Ive had bmw in wales for 30 years been around all the dealers, we buy lots of bikes approx 2 each a year on average,we get what we want in terms of prices and customer service no problem, ill agree on the service side that its not what if could or should be,i and my friends are spoilt to a certain degree, but we are repeat customers as long as the deal they give is what we want. The times are changing, covid money is done, expect a centralisation of manufacturer facilitys. I suspect Dick Lovett would hand back the bike franchise in a heartbeat but keeps it because of the cars they will not get a penny of me thats for sure ill go to williams in manchester first."Unrealistic expectations from BMW"?
Is it "unrealistic" for BMW owners (who are, after all, paying through the nose for the privilege) to expect a) a dedicated service check-in desk where the staff know the customers AND the bikes, and are not HD sellers with a part-time interest in other makes; b) similar specialism in the workshop itself, which is even more important; c) a "proper", well stocked, BMW sales area where, again, the sales people know the bikes and do not change every few weeks, and with a good stock of clothing and accessories. The set-up that Riders had in Cardiff for BMW compared to what M&P provided could not be more chalk and cheese.
I bought an RE Classic 350 from M&P about a year ago. These bikes have a 300 mile first service at which a valve check and adjust are mandatory according to RE. It was quite clear to me that M&P hadn't bothered to read the service requirements or, if they had, they just ignored them. All very well on a simple £4500 bike which you can put right yourself after their "service", but not on my £25000 BMW thank you very much.
Have you asked yourself why they no longer sell Moto Guzzi and Piaggio scooters?
Can only see completly motorcycles taking BMW in wales if anybody.
